I came across this guy the other day when I was moving a mulch pile. I have never seen one this large before.
Sometimes I arrange mulch around the trees by hand. No more!

He was mostly interested in bandishing his claws and beating a retreat. My hand was optimally positioned for dropping the glove if needed.
