I was able to source straw bales from a local harvest festival a couple weeks ago for the shed I’m building. Dad and I transported 140 bales in an evening last week. He stuck with it for all three loads and was a big help! It was good exercise, too.
I started to level out a pad for the shed about 100 ft east of my well. I’ll cut 3-4 ft further back into the hill and install a cinder block retaining wall. The plan is for the back of the shed to integrate with the retaining wall.
